Thom Monckton (NZ)
Only Bones
Clown and acrobat Thom Monckton presents an incredible “micro physical theater” performance on a stage measuring only 1 square meter, with a lamp and a chair.
This show and his crazy, talented author come from far away: from New Zealand. Praised by the audience and the press from all corners of the Earth, Thomas Monckton and Gemma Tweedie of Finnish theater company Kallo Collective have performed on the most prestigious stages. Their show is hypnotic, odd, never seen before. A stage measuring 1 square meter, a chair, a lamp and a circle on the ground: Monckton creates an extraordinary series of “micro physical theater” performances only using his hands, impossibly flexible, and his face, apparently uncontrollable, where less is indeed more.
