Rossana Taddei makes a stop at Teatro Dimitri with her tour that began in January 2023 in Uruguay. The MUEVEtour2023 saw her tour the length and breadth of Uruguay performing 18 concerts on prestigious stages and important theaters, and then continued to Switzerland, where she also performed with the New Azzan Big Band.

Music is movement.

Each show is different and special, whether it is in the MINIMALmambo format, the duo with drummer-percussionist Gustavo Etchenique, as in this case or rather in trio form, in the case of a special guest: you never know!

Rossana is ready to let you hear her new songs, starting with “Reparación,” the track that launches her forthcoming album.

The MUEVE show brings together a repertoire of the singer’s compositions spanning her various records, previously unreleased songs that will be played live for the first time, new versions of Latin American and Rio de la Plata folklore classics, as well as Italian that will be recorded on her next album, and set to music poems by Latin and Ticino authors. All in a sparkling and engaging musical mix.

Singing is her way of feeling free and it is this emotion that Rossana expresses in her concerts to infect and engage the audience in attendance. Rossana tells us thoughts, emotions, poems through her voice and sound language.

Rossana Taddei is a very talented artist in terms of composition and interpretation. These qualities have been appreciated in prestigious festivals (Estival Jazz Lugano) and other excellent musical contexts between Europe, Latin America (Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina) and North America (Austin-Texas SXSW)

Rossana currently performs between Europe and South America.

With an eclectic stylus, she moves between folk, rock-pop, and jazz, and her improvisations span a vast repertoire of songs written by her and versions by other composers, both in Italian and in Spanish and French. Her style could be summed up as World Music.
