Cicala’s Tango
A poetic and tragicomic show between Physical Theater and clowning by and with two artists trained at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri.
Balancing physical theater and clowning, ‘Cicada’s Tango’ is a visual performance in which poetry and absurdity guide the dance of their encounter in an original way.
Through a series of illusions that constantly build and deconstruct, the show weaves a tender and tragicomic portrait of the relationship between two people who live enclosed in a single coat.
They must constantly learn to coexist with each other… what if a cicada came along and made them dance an unexpected tango?
