Latinitas Nostra
…THAT’S HOW WE SLEEP IN THE DUST…
A musical tribute to the Hellenistic culture of Baroque
Language: IT
The concept ” Latinitas Nostra” has been used as complementary to the concept of ” our west ” and it refers to the culture of the flourishing Greek community during the Renaissance and Baroque periods in various European cities: London, Venice, Vienna, Marseille and Monaco of Bavaria.
The Baroque ensemble ” Latinitas Nostra” was founded by the Greek harpsicord player Markellos Chryssicos and works with the concert formation of Phormigx, a group of young musicians , who cultivate the passion for liberty, the exaggeration, the theatricality and mannerism, typical of Baroque art.
