DIMITRIGENERATIONS

The Family Dimitri reflects the tradition of the various dynasties of artists in which the secrets of the trade have been passed down from generation to generation. There were families of acrobats, comics, clowns and tight rope walkers. From the beginning the family’s boundaries widenened easily, welcoming young talent and initiating them into and revealing the secrets of the art of being a clown. Following these traditions we can now see three generations of the Dimitri family on stage: grandfather , children and grandchild, who open doors to other artists, continuing to create the magic of one family of artists. Doing so, a collective opera is born, in which every member of the family contributes with their own experience and capabilities.
