Readaptation – new version 2016!

It’s been 35 years since Gardi Hutter started touring around half the world. She works so much that she is unable to celebrate her anniversaries.

Her solo-programme SO EIN KÄSE (“Like a mouse in the cheese”) was created in 1988, in collaboration with Ferruccio Cainero and Mark Wetter, and was performed more than 500 times. Inspired by the current political landscape, the piece was reviewed and its ending changed.

After being able to accumulate riches – i.e. pieces of cheese – in the mousetrap, the true problems arise: how can the mouse keep her wealth and how can she keep those outside, who want to steal her cheese? MOUSE HANNA would welcome an initiative for the prompt deportation of all cheese-lovers!

The play is performed in German, Italian and French, with a few words that everyone understands.
