Due to the unexpected and tragic news about Clown Dimitri’s passing, the performance of Dimitri Clown on the 26th of July is replaced by the performance “Varieté/Varietà – Al chiar di luna” of Accademia Teatro Dimitri.
The tickets bought for the Dimitri Clown performance on the 26th of July performance can be used for the “Varieté/Varietà – Al chiar di luna” on the same day or can be refunded. In both cases, please refer to the box office of Teatro Dimitri for further information about the steps to follow: phone:

The development of the other Dimitri family performances programmed in the next weeks will be soon announced.
Following the wishes of the family of Dimitri, all the other guest performances will take place as programmed. All the guest artists will perform in his memory, paying homage to the great legacy that he has left for the theatre, for the audience and for the generations to come.
Every year, the 2nd year students of the Teatro Dimitri Academy, present a variety programme composed of a number of artists and clowns and lots of music. The genre variété is between circus and folk theatre, and it developed in nineteenth century France. This year the students invite the public to a surreal walk with whimsical characters and ghostly apparitions that will astound you.
