Insomnio Ciclotímico

I lie to the paper and then fail to look at myself in the mirror.
I turn my eyelids into fluttering hummingbirds, trying to erase the red in my eyes.
I paint my skin brown,
I want to erase my face, I want to forget my existence.
This being no longer has a name or an identity.
I am neither man nor woman
I am neither a bird nor an elephant
I am a liar playing innocent to meet the expectations of those I believed I was
I am tired of being,
I am tired of pretending to be who I think I am.
