In September, David Dimitri began a new adventure as artistic director of the Winterfest.
Georg Daxner founded this renowned festival of contemporary circus art in 2001. Each year, it takes place in Salzburg’s Volksgarten. More than 180 thousand spectators attended the shows of numerous artists and companies from around the world. David Dimitri himself and La Famiglia Dimitri were among the festival’s performers, as well as other artists that the Teatro Dimitri welcomed for an artistic residency or for a show like Les 7 Doigts, Compagnia Baccalà, Atelier Lefeuvre & André, Cirque Inextremiste, Les Rois Vagabonds, Bêtes de Foire and Gravity & Other Myths from Australia.
