How to find the Teatro Dimitri?
The Teatro Dimitri is situated between the Piazza (village square, where there is a pizzeria and a bakery) and the church of Verscio. A cobbled lane brings one to the Carà del Teatro Dimitri and the entrance to the theatre.
By train:
From the main station of Locarno one can take the "Centovallina" - all the regional trains stop at Verscio. After the performance, there is the possibility to return to Locarno with enough time remaining, to try a glass of good merlot in our restaurant (the train only departs around 23.05). By car:
From Bellinzona:
Follow the signs for "Locarno". After the Mappo-Morettina tunnel on the highway, follow the signs for "Centovalli". Turn left before the train crossing at Ponte Brolla and cross the bridge in the direction "Centovalli". Continue for about 1,7 km and you will arrive in Verscio.
From Locarno:
Follow the signs for "Valli" and "Centovalli". Turn left before the train crossing Ponte Brolla and cross the bridge. After 1,7 km you will arrive in Verscio.
From Domodossola:
Turn left after the village of Intragna in the direction of "Locarno". After approximately 2,7 km you will arrive in Verscio.
One can park near the station (arriving from Locarno, turn left after the piazza of Verscio).
