Dimitri Birthday 2010
From the 17 th to the 19th of September, Verscio celebrated various anniversaries: the Theater's 40th, the Dimitri School's 35th, the Museum's 10th, 50 years of Dimitri's presence on stage, and last but not least, his 75th birthday.

To highlight these events the new "Parco del Clown" was first opened to the public. It contains several sculptures by various well known artists such as Paul Gugelmann, Luca Marcionelli, Alexander Zschokke, Friedrich Reinhard Brüderlin, as well as works by Dimitri himself. Offered was also the possibility to visit an extraordinary exposition of works by Gunda and Dimitri, as well as the project for the restructuring of the "Casa del Clown". Hanspeter Gschwend's book, "Dimitri-Ein Gesamtwerk" was put on sale, in german (photographs by Adriano Heitmann, edited by Benteli), especially for the occasion.

Adding to the festivities was a performance by David Dimitri, who stunned the public with a 15 meter high tight -rope routine across the park and above the heads of his fellow artists in the "Mondo Dimitri", many of whom also created spectacular performances to continue the celebration.
