Preliminary examination
Before taking the entrance examination, a potential student must first sit a preliminary examination, held at Verscio and in a number of European cities (further information can be found on the information sheet and under the “preliminary examination “heading in the menu on the right).

Entrance examination
The entrance examination is held in May and lasts three days. It is organized as follows: two days of tests in the basic disciplines and one day of individual 3.5-minute auditions. Successful candidates may take up their places at the School in the same year (early September).

Probationary period
The probationary period lasts three months (September to November). At the end of this period, a decision as taken as to whether or not the training should continue. After the probationary period, 50% of students normally stay on to continue their studies.
