Preliminary examination

Before taking the entrance examination, an applicant must first sit a practical preliminary examination

Candidates from overseas have take the preliminary exam at Verscio 2 days before the admission exam

The examination fee of CHF 30.-/€ 20.- is payable by bank transfer or cash on the spot.

Admission exam

Candidates who passed the preliminary exam, are admitted to the admission exam.

The admission exam is held in May and lasts three days, May 13-15, 2013.

It is organized as follows: two days of tests in the basic disciplines and one day of individual 3.5-minute auditions. Successful candidates may take up their places at the School in the same year (early September).

Intensive Italian course

19-23.08.2013 and 26-30.08.2013. Students of Italian language or with A2 level are exempt.

Trial period

The trial period lasts 11 weeks (September 2 - November 21, 2013). At the end of this period, a decision is taken as to the candidate's final admission. After the trial period, 50% of students normally stay on to continue their studies.
