Studying at Verscio on the
Master Campus Theater CH
The "Master-Campus-Theater-CH", inaugurated in 2008, is a new Swiss national study centre involving the Zurich, Berne, Lausanne and Verscio drama schools. Students of these four institutions can benefit from the teaching courses offered by the different schools by taking subject-based blocks. This is a new training concept in Switzerland, enabling students to draw from an extraordinary pool of skills. During the master’s course, when students put together their own production or undertake a research project, they generally define the content of their studies themselves.
At the same time, a theatre training course on a single Swiss campus promotes contact between the students concerned. This new platform favours the spontaneous formation of groups, which can work together on cross-disciplinary projects.
The teaching on this course is highly individualized: the Verscio School admits only six students at a time.
