Working in the movement theatre environment
Movement theatre is a broad field and there is a growing demand for qualified professionals. A large proportion of the School’s graduates find employment immediately after taking their bachelor’s degree, either founding their own company or joining an existing one. Others prefer to continue their training, at Verscio or elsewhere, to gain a master’s degree and specialize in other disciplines. There are many possibilities: in Europe, there are many dance and circus schools, and various institutions specializing in other fields. It is becoming increasingly common for artists specialized in movement theatre to be active in the more innovative municipal and state-subsidized theatres, as well as with independent companies. Cinema and television also offer employment opportunities. A number of graduates also make a living by teaching.
