Academy for Physical Theatre
The Theatre School founded by Dimitri in 1975 is now part of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and offers a basic training in all aspects of movement theatre that is unique in Europe.
Central to the programme of studies is the three-year “Bachelor of Arts in Theatre” course. This qualification can be supplemented by a “Master of Arts in Theatre” degree, after a further eighteen months’ study.
The research and development section explores different aspects of movement theatre in greater depth.
Over Easter and during the summer months, the School organizes various courses for beginners and amateurs, as well as specialized courses for professional artists, all run by teachers of repute.
The School also organizes seminars and theatre courses for specific groups.
